The Minnesota Green Chemistry Forum is pleased to present their fifth annual conference, The Midwest Bioeconomy and Safer Products Summit: Regional Innovations Solving Global Problems, at the Minneapolis Central Library on Thursday, February 19th, 2015.
In its fifth year, the Minnesota Green Chemistry Forum's premier event has expanded its focus to the greater Midwest, uniting the traditional green chemistry and bioeconomy sectors.
Speakers Kevin Munn, Programme Officer at the United Nations Environment Programme, and Mark Rossie, Co-Director of Clean Production Action, explore the new UNEP report on how business benefit when they get ahead of regulatory demands and proactively manage the chemicals used in their products and supply chains.
In 2013 and 2014, the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy and the Great Lakes Green Chemistry Network sponsored a series of workshops and webinars, “Safe Products, Made Safely: Green Chemistry Tools for Business,” with a grant from the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Due to low numbers of registrations, this event is CANCELLED. We will be exploring options for either rescheduling the workshop or looking at other alternatives. We will post information on our web site ss soon as a decision is made on how to proceed.
