In 2013 and 2014, the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy and the Great Lakes Green Chemistry Network sponsored a series of workshops and webinars, “Safe Products, Made Safely: Green Chemistry Tools for Business,” with a grant from the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This project included the development of a Resources Guide, which is a compendium of green chemistry tools and resources, as well as criteria for choosing the right tools for businesses wishing to implement green chemistry and sustainable practices. The Guide also includes a description of the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable’s Safer Chemicals Challenge Program (SCCP), a program to encourage and reward businesses in toxic use reduction efforts. Recordings of our three part webinar series are also available below (please click title to view).
